TLDR: You can find vocal lessons anywhere but this is the space that's going to celebrate you.
Class Enrollment: Reclaim Your Voice (4 x 1 hour Lessons)
Personal Experience: Can carry a tune. No formal training.
Our class had three students and one instructor (Betsy). We received a welcome email that had clear instructions on where to go, what to bring, and a few "get to know you" questions. Each lesson was well thought out, sensibly paced, instructive but not overwhelming, personalized but not exclusionary. We had class materials for taking notes, and each lesson introduced skills that paired with the previous week(s).
What I didn't expect was how healing this class would be. Class was so much fun and our group stayed laughing with each other! Betsy was not only knowledgeable, she was passionate about the science behind a voice, and it was so helpful to learn the "why" of the lesson! When I felt performance anxiety...Betsy was always quick to say "it's okay, I'm right there with you", help me ease into the exercise, and cheer me along the whole way. - Emily Baker··from Google
Betsy and Keira are both wonderful teachers who make learning really fun! I can already tell my singing has improved since I started a group class with Keira. I look forward to it each week because Keira makes learning new music a joy and is so encouraging! I highly recommend Twin Cities Voice for anyone who wants to learn or improve their singing ability.

As an adult learner who has always wanted to be able to sing outside of a seven-note range, Betsy has been a delight to work with. She has a very fluid style of teaching, and is quick to restructure techniques around what works best for me and my own brain. Her focus is in finding the path of least resistance, and it has physically made singing much easier and more enjoyable. I also appreciate how well her opening hours structure around my own day job.
