Absolutely wonderful teacher! She listens and works with me at my own pace!

We've been working with Betsy for about a year and she has been truly wonderful for our daughter. Betsy has a knack for keeping learning fun, keeping kids focused, and building on small skills to make big improvements in skills. We love having her as our music teacher for both the kids and the parents.

It's impossible to put into words what an incredible voice teacher Betsy is! From almost the first time I met her, she witnessed and uplifted my personality and innate inner gifts---connecting with far more than just my vocal/musical skills. She helped me understand that singing is about more than musical ability---it's about becoming attuned to my body and breath, cathartically expressing emotion through art, growing my confidence, and enhancing my self-awareness and unapologetic self-expression in everything I do. Betsy expertly tailors her teaching to each student's unique personality, life experience, and goals. I always felt like I could fully be myself around her, and left each lesson feeling lighter and happier. The positive impacts of Betsy's lessons bled into every area of my life: expanding my multi-medium creative praxis, supporting my health and healing, and helping me clarify my career goals of being a somatic practitioner.
