I don't usually write reviews...but class with Betsy is the fastest and most fun filled 30 minutes of my week. Time flies by. Class is filled with playful singing exercises and banter. She is a an absolute riot to work with.
Twin cities voice has created a warm and supportive environment that allows me to be a child again learning/relearning skills and unlearning old habits. It's like I've added more paintbrushes and more colors of paint to my pallet of sounds. I always leave feeling much better than when ! went in.

I am a professional singer, and for the last four years something was holding me back from singing the way I used to. My freedom and enjoyment were gone, and I couldn’t seem to get back on track. A lot of tension had built up in my diaphragm and core from learning Pilates breathing and “proper” core engagement — which is completely opposite of what singers need.

After my longtime voice teachers sadly passed away, I was desperate to find someone who could help me quickly, especially as I had just started with a new band.

That’s when I found Betsy — the BEST of the BEST! In only two classes, she immediately understood what I was struggling with and released the tension that had been holding me back for years. I honestly can’t believe she was able to do this so quickly, and even more amazing — she did it online!

Betsy is incredibly knowledgeable. When she says teaching voice is her “bread and butter,” she means it. She has a wonderful personality and a gift for explaining things in a way that makes them click. The way she demonstrates and guides you through exercises gives you that Aha! moment where everything suddenly makes sense.
